  • Reno Mattresses

Reno mattress is a structure with a large area and a small thickness made from double twist hexagonal wire mesh. The base section of Reno mattress is divided into compartments by means of internal diaphragms placed at 1m intervals and filled with stones at the project site. The woven mesh system has the capability of withstanding unexpected or localized stresses due to ground settlements and scour by deflection while maintaining its structural integrity. In order to strengthen the structure, all the edges are reinforced with a wire having a larger diameter.

Reno mattress is also environmentally friendly. It's filled with rock at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structure to promote rapid growth of natural vegetation. The voids in the rockfill become progressively filled with silt, promoting vegetation growth which is essential to the preservation and maintenance of the ecological balance of the surrounding environment.

    Materials:
Low- carbon steel wire, galvanized ( divided into galvanized after weaving and galvanized before weaving), PVC coated, stainless steel.
Surface treatments: galvanised, polyester powder coated, PVC coated
    Gabion shape: rectangular
    Mesh shape: hexagonal

    Features:
    Environmental Friendly
Reno mattresses are environmentally friendly products. The blending of reno mattress structures into the environment is rapid and pleasing. The voids in the rockfill become progressively filled with silt, promoting vegetation growth which is essential to the preservation and maintenance of the ecological balance of the surrounding environment.
    Flexibility
The woven mesh system has the capability of withstanding unexpected and/or localized stresses due to ground settlements and scour by deflection while maintaining its structural integrity.
    Permeability
The stone fill allows the water to seep through the structure while retaining the soil, therefore no additional drainage is required to relieve the hydrostatic pressures.
